The first authentic Bangladeshi street-food café in Northwest England
In Bangladesh, every home has a বৈঠক খানা — a drawing room where guests are welcomed with open arms and a cup of cha before anything else. It is the heart of the house: the place where stories are traded over steaming plates of biriyani, where laughter echoes past midnight, and where no one leaves hungry — not for food, and not for company.
We brought that tradition 4,600 miles to Oldham. Our café is not just a restaurant — it is a drawing room for the community. A space where Bangladeshi street food meets the warmth of Northwest England, where the aroma of slow-cooked spices mingles with the sound of familiar conversation. Whether you grew up eating fuchka on the streets of Dhaka or you are tasting it for the very first time, this is your seat at the table.

“Honestly the best biriyani I've had outside of Bangladesh. The kacchi was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and the goat was fall-off-the-bone tender. The whole vibe of this place feels like sitting in someone's home — in the best way.”

“Finally, somewhere that actually serves real Bangladeshi street food in the North. The fuchka tasted exactly like what you'd get from a cart in Dhaka. My family felt right at home here.”

“Came in not knowing what to expect and left completely blown away. The staff explained every dish with such passion. The beef tehari was unreal — warming, rich, and full of flavour. Already planning our next visit.”

“The atmosphere is gorgeous — love the neon sign, the bookshelf, the folk art everywhere. Feels like a little piece of Dhaka in Oldham. The roast chicken was smoky and delicious. Can't wait to bring my parents here.”
